Creating PDF documents for print

Before creating your PDF document be sure Acrobat Distiller is using the correct settings. Under Distiller's Job Options, select Press or Press Optimized to use high-resolution print settings. Distiller has these settings pre-set and the Default Settings can be used without any changes being made.

Do ensure you have included cropmarks in the finished PDF, and that artwork extends at least 1/8-inch past the cropmarks if your artwork bleeds off the edge of the page(s).
